Steamboat Social Club is located in the heart of downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Steamboat social club is a collaborative, inclusive cowork space for all types of workers to settle in and call their home office. SSC offers a mix of open desk and private room options to fit your work needs. We strive to create a fun, safe and healthy work environment by engaging the cowork community weekly in social events, classes and workshops.

Steamboat social club is a well lit converted industrial space targeted to get the creative juices flowing and spark collaboration between members. The bottomless coffee and fast internet will make your daily work day that much easier and productive. SSC offers a number of different areas to work from: phone booth, conference room, breakout room, couch or a standing desk. Need a break from the work day? enjoy a game of ping pong or kick your feet up on our private patio lounge!

About The Owner
Meet the owner of Steamboat Social Club, John Maurer! John took over the SSC in the fall of 2025, and has been dedicated to continuing what Michael & Tim started making the Steamboat Social Club a space where community and productivity can come together to enjoy their 9-5's and also host parties, weddings, community events, and more!

Prior to owning the club, John spent the majority of his career in the Marketing & Advertising Technology space focusing on customer data strategy.
​
He also serves as the managing director of the Yampa Valley Entrepreneurship Center, supporting local founders in Steamboat, as they bring ideas to life and grow their businesses across the Yampa Valley.
Life’s been extra exciting lately. John and his wife, Bridget, just welcomed their first baby, Wesley, in March 2026.
When he’s not working, you’ll find him and Bridget mountain biking, skiing, camping, and soaking up everything Steamboat has to offer.
